The search for suspected killer Chad Absher came to an end Wednesday evening after a brief police standoff.
Absher is facing charges including murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Absher was on the run since early Tuesday morning when police say he killed his ex-girlfriend, Ashlee Rucker, and shot her sister, Lisa Rucker.
Absher is expected to go before a judge Thursday afternoon.

Police say they received a tip around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday that led them to a Westside home where Absher was hiding.
“They caught him underneath my friend's house, so it kind of freaked me out a little bit," Tiffany Rist, a neighbor on 118th Street, said. “I was scared because he could have hurt other people and killed other people.”
Tom Cain lives near the condo where the sisters were shot. He told Action News Jax he thinks he heard the gunshots early Tuesday morning.
"We heard some noise and I thought it was somebody hitting something with the hammer, but I guess it was the gunshots," said Cain.
Lisa Rucker is still in the hospital. Action News Jax spoke to her father Roger Rucker.
Roger Rucker said he thought Absher was capable of harming his daughter. He showed Action News Jax pictures of Ashlee in the hospital with injuries he said were caused by Absher.
The family said Absher flaunted the pictures on Facebook, posting them himself.
“Sadly, I told my daughter for three straight years this was coming," Roger Rucker said. "I knew it. I knew it sure as I’m standing here. I told her, but she wouldn't listen. Police officers told her too, 'you’re going to die.'"
Rucker said Ashlee never pressed charges even though the family warned her about Absher.
“I told her she was going to be shot -- not beat up, shot. And it happened. I just knew it. I just knew,” said Rucker.
Ashlee Rucker is survived by an 8-year-old son, who family says saw the shooting Tuesday.
“That boy’s robbed. He got robbed, that’s all. He got robbed of his mother,” said Rucker.
The Rucker family told Action News Jax that Lisa is expected to make a full recovery.
