JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting near the intersection of Valerier Street and Ridge Boulevard.
JSO tweeted that a person was shot.
During a news briefing, JSO said that a man was shot multiple times while in a car.
JSO said that the call came in around 9:03 p.m. about shots fired.
There was also a woman in the car at the time, according to JSO.
The man was taken to a hospital JSO said.
JSO said they weren't able to talk to the victim because he was unconcious when they arrived.
There is no suspect description at this time, according to JSO.
