Police say a Jacksonville teen was arrested after he tried to carjack two people while meeting them to buy an Xbox.

Michael Mills, 16, was arrested after police say he and two other people carjacked a couple in the 1000 block of Division Street on Monday.

Police say the group met up with a couple to buy their Xbox.

According to police, Mills pointed a silver gun in the face of one of the victims and demanded they give him the Xbox and get out of the car.

Police say the victims called police while fleeing.

Officers said they found the car abandoned nearby at Live Oak Avenue and Placeda Street. Officers believe the suspects ditched the car because they could not drive its manual transmission.

Police said officers also found a silver gun with the serial number scratched off.

Officers said they found Mills nearby hiding in the woods. The victims identified him as one of the people who carjacked them.

Officers said Mills had a large plastic bag that contained four small bags of marijuana. He's facing armed robbery and drug possession charges.
