Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office addresses drone concerns

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is addressing community concerns about drones.

This comes after weeks of increased drone sightings around the country.

In a social media post, JSO reassures the public that most drone activity is “legal” and “even beneficial.”

Drones are used by first responders, for construction work, aerial photography, and by everyday hobbyists.

However, anyone operating a drone has to follow all FAA regulations.
