JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported two people were shot and killed at 100 North Julia Street early Saturday morning.

According to JSO, at around 3:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Forsyth St. and Julia St. in reference to a person being shot.
When officers arrived, two people were located suffering from gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other victim was transported to the hospital but later passed away due to their injuries.
Both victims were found in the same area. Both are described to be adult males.
There were several vehicles also struck by gunfire that are being processed.
According to JSO, it is believed that there was a gathering at the time of the incident.
Homicide detectives were called and are currently on the scene along with our Crime Scene Detectives and the State Attorney who are conducting an investigation. They are currently looking for any witnesses and surveillance video in the area.
