JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars running back Denard Robinson ordered to pay a $100 fine after pleading no contest to careless driving in court Thursday.

Robison won’t have any points or criminal record from the early July incident where he drove into a retention pond off of Beach Boulevard.

Police initially didn't charge Robinson until the Sheriff’s Office ordered review of how the crash was handled.

Robinson’s attorney said details in the police report are wrong. Attorney Hank Coxe argued that the car was not submerged in the water. He said the photo, which was taken by the tow truck company proves it.

“The picture shows the car didn’t go into the water the picture had to be taken before the car was touched as a condition of insurance requirements,” Coxe said.

Robinson has about a month to pay the fine.
