The Best Practices Awards, now in their fifth year, highlight successful programs, technologies and strategies from electricity providers in six categories.
JEA was honored with the Consumer Education Award for JEA Drive Electric, a first-of-its-kind electric vehicle education, marketing and peak load reduction program. The program encourages EV adoption and incentivizing drivers who charge their EVs off-peak.
“As consumers and SMBs continue to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever that electricity providers listen to and respond to consumers’ needs,” said SECC’s president & CEO Nathan Shannon. “These winners showcase exemplary consumer-focused innovation, and we hope that they will pave the way for other utilities to follow.”
The six winners will be featured throughout the year in webinars, case studies and other content on the SECC website HERE.
