JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the shooting death of a man on I-95 early Sunday "is not being worked as a random act of violence by a stranger."
The victim is identified as 25 year-old Steven Shawn Grady of Castle Hayne, North Carolina.
Police say he was traveling in a Cadillac XTS with two other people when he was found dead from a gunshot wound.
The car apparently ran off the interstate and crashed near the Union Street exit around 3:15 a.m..
Police haven't said who was driving the vehicle at the time but both witnesses are said to be cooperating with the investigation.
