JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident where a person was shot on Sunday, January 12.

At around 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 Block of Wilcox Street about a victim who was shot. While it is still very early in the investigation, officers believe that three young males were seen fleeing the area after the gunshots.
The victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and in stable condition.
