JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Days after a string of incidents on the Westside sent an attempted robbery suspect to the hospital, WOKV, Action News Jax's radio partner, is learning more about what exactly happened, and who has been arrested.
WOKV first reported on Monday that a man police called an attempted robbery suspect had been hit by multiple people and a car driven by a victim, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

That suspect was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but there was no other information JSO was immediately able to provide.
We’ve now confirmed the arrest of 34-year-old Andrew Levicki in connection to this case.
Jail records show the arrest happened very early Tuesday, however police have only now released the corresponding report and details.
Levicki’s arrest report now confirms he was initially allegedly involved in a carjacking outside of the OMG Food Store on Jammes Road.
According to the report, the victim said she saw a man, later identified as Levicki, walking up in a “brisk” manner than made her feel “uneasy”, and they had some sort of interaction while she was trying to start her car to get away.

What happened after that has been redacted from the arrest report, but it further shows the victim was able to get out of the vehicle, before the suspect then exited the vehicle and the victim got back in and drove away.
Levicki was armed with a knife or other cutting instrument, according to the arrest report.
The arrest report says Levicki went in and out of the store and then started walking down Wilson Blvd., where he confronted a man.
The exact nature of that confrontation has been redacted, but the report indicates it was a robbery, and that Levicki chased that man in to another food store, before walking away.
The initial carjacking victim came back to the scene with a friend to “keep an eye on the suspect until police arrived”, according to the arrest report.
The incident report confirms, as police initially reported, that there was some sort of large fight at the intersection of Jammes and Wilson, during which the suspect was seriously hurt.
The incident report now shows that injury was a cut to his throat. JSO also said Monday that Levicki was hit by a car driven by his victim, but it is not clear in these reports when exactly that impact happened.
The arrest report says three people independently identified Levicki in a photo spread.
He has been arrested for carjacking with a deadly weapon and unarmed robbery/sudden snatching.
WOKV has asked whether there are any other arrests relating to this incident, and so far, none have been confirmed.
