JTA announces altered MLK Day schedule, upcoming service enhancements

MLK JR. DAY SCHEDULE

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority announced its holiday hours for MLK Jr. Day.

On Monday, January 20th, all of its Fixed Route and First Coast Flyer buses will operate on a Saturday schedule.

The Skyway will also be closed.

Customer service, the JRTC Ticket Center, and the Lost and Found will all still be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All other services will function as normal.

UPCOMING SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS

After listening to customer feedback, JTA will make improvements to routes 1, 8, 13, 16, 19, 22, 30, 31, 105 (orange) and 109 (red).

Beginning on Monday, January 27th, riders will see an increased frequency in pick-up, adjustments to running times, and new schedule changes.

Services are also being expanded to include the VA Clinic North and UF Health North.

You can grab a new bus schedule on your JTA bus, from JRTC at LaVilla, your local public library, the Tax Collector’s Office, or CareerSource Northeast Florida.
