JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Day cares are inspected by the state in several categories from equipment to record keeping.
Two local centers passed all categories during their inspections.
Action News Jax anchor Letisha Bereola paid a visit to both day cares.
Her first stop was at the Bright Future Learning Center in San Jose.
She gave the director a call after no one answered the door.
The center has been compliant in its last two inspections this year.
Its last violation, a record-keeping issue, was in November. It was corrected on the spot.
The center did not have a comment.
Amy’s Little Angels Child Care and Learning Center in Moncrief also had a clean inspection.
The center has had one violation since it opened and that was for not keeping a transportation log for one month. It was given time to get it back in order.
Bereola spoke with the director, Amy Muller, who’s been in charge a little more than six years.
“It’s been great. I couldn’t have made it without the Lord though. I must say that, “ Muller said.
