License revoked for day care where baby died

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning revoked the license of a local day care Tuesday. This follows the death of a baby there early last month.

The state said it pulled the license of Generation Kids Preschool Nursery in Brunswick after confirming rule violations.

It said staff didn't properly supervise infants while they were sleeping, which may have contributed to the 3-month-old's death.

The center has been shut down since the child died. They have 10 days to appeal the ruling.
