During her final show Friday morning, Ross previewed one of her upcoming initiatives—a storytelling project that highlights how recreation has transformed the lives of St. Johns County residents.
“Stories like Joseph’s show how recreation changes lives, and that’s how I’d like to bring awareness to our foundation’s work,” Ross shared.
A St. Johns County resident passionate about recreation and its wellness benefits, Ross is eager to lead the foundation in its mission to advocate for, support, and enhance the county’s recreational opportunities.

“In its early stages, the St. Johns County Parks Foundation didn’t see the momentum it deserved, but I’m determined to revamp and elevate it for the benefit of all SJC residents,” Ross said. “Recreation has such a profound impact on health and happiness, and I’m thrilled to lead an effort that not only improves access to these opportunities but also celebrates the experiences they create.”
As the foundation expands its outreach, Ross encourages individuals and organizations based in St. Johns County to share their stories or partner with the foundation to support local parks. To connect, visit the St. Johns County Parks Foundation.
