JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The NAS Jax air show roared into Jacksonville after it was canceled last year.

Action News Jax was at NAS Jax all morning long. That’s where the Angels first got their wings in 1946.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are back, bigger, better and louder than ever before.

“We come out here for the Blue Angels. My husband is a big fan of the crew, and he loves watching their demonstrations,” says Lacey Carter.

Spectators got a front-row seat to a number of skilled pilots and the famous Blue Angels. They showcased some of their new air show features including the F-18 Superhornets.

“We showed up at about 9 and we came from Melbourne,” says Beshawn Sands.
