Nassau County husband, wife arrested with sexual battery on a minor family member

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Nassau County Sheriff's Office arrested a husband and wife Wednesday on suspicion of sex crimes involving a minor family member, according to a police report.

Police charged Aurthur Brian Hastings and Danielle Alyse Kirchenbauer, both 29, with sexual battery on a minor over the age of 12 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Hastings was also charged with incest.

According to a police report, NCSO received a tip May 21 from the Department of Children and Families Child Protection Team whose members spoke with a female between the ages of 12 and 18. The girl said she was forced to drink alcohol and have sex with an adult male member of her family and his wife multiple times.

Police said an NCSO detective interviewed Hastings and Kirchenbauer on Wednesday at the Sheriff's Office and both suspects were immediately arrested and booked into the Nassau County Jail.

Kirchenbauer was a 911 dispatcher for Nassau County since April 2018, but was fired after her arrest.
