Action News Jax has learned that Moyers’ organs have helped five people, including an infant. Moyers’ pancreas, a kidney, lungs and liver are helping to give these people the gift of life.
NCSO wrote on its Facebook page, “Deputy Moyers donated organs to five people including a 29 week old baby. The organs donated include: a liver, pancreas, both lungs given to two different people and a kidney. A hero even after death.”
Funeral services for Moyers will be held Saturday at Callahan First Baptist Church. The service is not open to the public, per his family’s request.
