Cheryl Cuthbertson’s husband’s truck was a recent target in Eagle Landing.

“I pushed the door shut. When he got up, he said it was ransacked,” Cuthbertson said.

Surveillance video showed the thieves going through the Cuthbertsons' truck in the early morning hours Thursday.

“It was 6 a.m. If I walked out a minute earlier, I would of seen them going through his truck,” Cuthbertson said

The Clay County Sheriff's Office sent out a surveillance picture to try and catch the thieves.

Eagle Landing resident Stacey Watson said thieves have also been stealing Christmas decorations and packages delivered to homes.

"Just disheartened by it," Watson said. "We moved out here because it's a great place to raise a family."

Anyone with any information about the thefts is asked to contact Detective C. Jett at 904-213-6676, Detective D. Hysler at 904-213-6734 or the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
