JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman who put up a sign telling drug dealers to leave her Oceanway neighborhood said she no longer has to fight crime on her own.
Kathy Livingston said she has the help because of our story, which aired Friday.
Action News Jax first told you about Livingston how she put up a sign in her front yard about alleged drug activity there.
Since our story aired, several people have stepped in to help including MAD DADS.
A biker group and an off-duty Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office corrections officer have also volunteered to guard her home at night for free.

MAD DADS president Donald Foy tells us they will canvass this neighborhood on Galway Avenue on Saturday.
“We need people standing with her, she’s an example that people say we want the drugs and crime out of the neighborhood well be them standing with them,” Foy said.
MAD DADS said everyone in the community is invited to attend their walk Saturday.
The group is working out the details but once everything is decided, we’ll post that information on ActionNewsJax.com.
