STORY: Arrest made in school Snapchat threat circulating nationwide
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office have arrested a 15-year-old Edge High School student after making threatening social media posts regarding Palatka High School.
The juvenile was arrested at 1 a.m. Friday morning and is charged with a second degree felony.
Putnam County police say that there is no information to suggest that there is any danger at Palatka High School.
The PCSO will have a strong security presence at the school on Friday.
Due to the nature of the threatening post, the Putnam County School Board has made Friday an excused absence day for students who choose not to attend school.
