Putnam County Sheriff’s Office: Beware of cows

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla — The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has alerted drivers to cows on the loose. The Sheriff’s Office said that about “18 cows broke and made a run for freedom.”

The Sheriff’s Office the cows are in the area of County Road 315 near State Road 100. The Sheriff’s Office is urging driver to be aware of the cows so that no cows, cars or people get hurt.

The cowboys are currently rustling up the herd, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Facebook Post reads:

"BEWARE OF COWS

"January 9, 2020 - Earlier this evening about 18 cows broke and made a run for freedom in the area of County Road 315 near State Road 100.

"While the cowboys rustle up the herd, we want to urge motorists to use extreme caution. We do not want any animals harmed and honestly a cow can do some pretty serious damage to a vehicle.
