JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A music teacher who taught students at First Coast High School is accused of taking advantage of a teen on multiple occasions.

Dennard is known to her neighbors as a friendly person.

"What I know of, she is nice as she can be," said one neighbor who asked not to be named.

Action News Jax Reporter Jamarlo Phillips went to her home to try to hear her side of the story Monday but no one answered the door.

Neighbors are shocked by the allegations.

"I can't believe it. I still can't believe it. The whole family is just nice as they can be. You couldn't ask for anybody in this neighborhood any better," the neighbor said.
