JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The retail and e-commerce company considering bringing 1,500 jobs to Jacksonville is “likely” to be Amazon, according to Action News Jax News’ partner Jacksonville Business Journal.

One local commercial real estate Jacksonville Business Journal: "If it's not them, then this is the greatest trick played on Jacksonville industrial real estate."

The specifics regarding the deal is under wraps for now, and is called "Project Rex." WOKV reports the business will be a "large state-of-the-art fulfillment center facility" near Jacksonville International Airport. Groundbreaking on the facility would start this summer, if the Council approves the package and the company ultimately chooses Jacksonville.
