Report: Miami Dolphins DT Kendrick Norton's arm amputated after serious crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Kendrick Norton, a Jacksonville native and a defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins football team was badly injured in a crash, according to the NFL team.

Talk show host Andy Slater in Miami reported that paramedics had to amputate one of his arms at the crash scene.

Though his injuries are not considered life-threatening, his football career may be over, according to CBS Sports.

Norton who attended Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville before playing for the University of Miami, was chosen in the seventh round of the 2018 draft by the Carolina Panthers before being snagged by the Dolphins.
