School district reviewing surveillance video at Sebastian Middle School

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Johns County School District is reviewing a piece of evidence involving alleged aggressive behavior at Sebastian Middle School.

The district confirmed that it has surveillance video of what happened inside the lunchroom on Sept. 16.

That video has been handed over to the district's legal team.

The district won't confirm what the video shows but Action News Jax has learned from several sources the student's arm was broken.

Action News Jax first showed you Tuesday how three school employees are on paid suspension after the district said a verbal complaint was made.

The employees are P.E. teachers Jarrod Branco and Robert O'Shell as well as school dean, Pete Sharman.

Action News Jax has reached out to all of the employees but we have not heard back.

The school board will decide whether they should be fired at their Oct. 13 meeting.
