DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Smoke from an air-conditioning unit causes an evacuation Thursday morning at Crystal Springs Elementary School.
The AC unit was previously scheduled for repair. The motor in the unit started to burn and caused light smoke to go through the building.
The students and personnel were evacuated briefly, and allowed back in the building a short time later.
