ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A lightning strike sparked a fire The Legends condo complex in World Golf Village on Wednesday evening.
Action News Jax’s Robert Grant was given video of portion of the roof engulfed in flames.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue said everyone inside got out safely.
A representative for the complex said there’s no units directly underneath the flames and crews are now assessing the damage.
Neighbors told Action News Jax’s Robert Grant it’s the second time in two years that same roof was struck by lightning.
