New video posted to Twitter shows a high school football player dancing in his prom tuxedo.
Hours later, someone shot and killed Johnnel Johnson at an after-prom party. He was a junior at First Coast High School.
There were multiple witnesses to the shooting but so far, there have been no arrests in the case.
Students at First Coast said they know who shot and killed Johnnel, but that hasn't translated into an arrest. Even worse, this gun culture doesn't appear to be going away any time soon.
"Nowadays, it seems like everyone has something to prove. If something happens or someone says something, everybody wants to show that they're bigger than that person," said Jeffrey Villatoro, former FCHS student.
Villatoro spent his high school days at First Coast, but graduated a couple of years ago. He said what used to be a chill school has gotten more violent, which is why he isn't surprised about the prom party shooting.

Sources say this whole thing started with teasing and joking gone too far. Feelings were hurt, pride set in and as a result, Johnnel and another student at First Coast fought in the courtyard. The shooting was in retaliation.
"Just having a good time at prom and something like this happened. I think Jacksonville – the kids in Jacksonville, the teens – are doing too much," Villatoro said.
Students say they know who shot Johnell, but no arrests have been made. We reached out to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, but they said a statement was given at the scene and there's nothing new to release.
That doesn't sit well with some people, considering we're talking about a teen with a whole life ahead of him – and his killer still on the loose.
"It was really quiet in the courtyard and a lot of crying … so it was very emotional," said student Emari Williams.
On Monday, Johnnel's teammates had their first day of spring practice. But now, they're just trying to hold it together.
On Sunday night, more than 100 parents and students held a vigil for Johnnel. Another person was shot at the prom party, but was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
