It's about the size of a business card and can fit in your pocket or purse.
“It’s a test kit, so what you do is you put your drink on it and it tests for two date rape drugs, GHB and ketamine,” Madison Brantley said.
Brantley is a junior and student advocate at the University of North Florida.
She was working to bring the “Drink Smart” test cards to campus when the university sent out a crime alert on Nov. 3.
A student said she had been at the Flats, a UNF housing complex, when someone gave her a drink.

She told police she believes someone drugged her and then sexually assaulted her.
As police work to identify a suspect, 2,500 of the Drink Smart cards are now available for students for free at four locations at UNF.
Each card can test two drinks. You place a drop of the drink on two dots on the card, smear the liquid onto the test area and then wait for it to dry.
If a test pad turns dark blue, the drink may have been tampered with.
Brantley said that if you've already consumed a drink that you think may be drugged, you should call 911.
The cards also have symptoms of date rape and emergency numbers on them. "This is going to happen and it's unfortunate, but you have to look out for your friends," Brantley said.

She told Action News Jax that after UNF rolled out the cards, several other universities in Florida asked how they could get some for their students.
Brantley said she hopes the cards help prevent students from consuming tainted drinks, but they're also a reminder.
“If you see someone who looks a little off or is with someone they don’t really know, it’s best to intervene," she said. "It doesn’t matter if you know them or if you're best friends. We need to look out for each other."
The cards are available at the Student Government rotunda, the LGBT Resource Center, the Women's Center and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
