MORNING NIGHTMARE: I-95 in St. Johns County reopens hours after crash

St. Johns, Fla. — Update 9:45 a.m. - Lanes reopen on I-95 northbound at County Road 210, traffic is once again moving in north St. Johns County into Jacksonville.

Update 8 a.m. - It’s unclear exactly how long the northbound lanes of I-95 will be closed. The Florida Highway Patrol told Action News Jax that the semi was carrying paint and that the load shifted. Crews are working to make sure the paint doesn’t leak out of the truck and cause an environmental concern. No injuries have been reported.

Original story: Drivers in the northern part of St. Johns County will see a backup as they approach the Duval County line on I-95.

All northbound lanes of the interstate are closed due to a crash with an overturned semi.
