Verizon Wireless customers may experience issues when calling 911

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has just tweeted that Verizon Wireless 911 issues have been resolved and that the emergency service is once again working.

Customers who have Verizon Wireless may experience issues when calling 911.

This issue is only for Verizon customers only.

If you are having difficulties calling 911, you can call 904-630-0500.

People can also text 911 as well.
