Violent weekend in Jacksonville: 6 separate shootings

Jacksonville has had six separate shootings over the course of the weekend.

These shootings have left 4 dead, 8 shot and 1 in critical condition, according to information from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Saturday at 10:40 a.m. Crime scene units and patrol cars blocked a Jacksonville neighborhood for more than five hours after police say a woman was shot dead in front of a home.

Neighbors said they saw officers with guns drawn on Rusty Lakes Lane after the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office got reports of a shooting at 10:40 a.m.

Officers found a woman with a gunshot wound in front of a home. She died at the scene.

JSO made an arrest in this case where Natosha Bailey admitted to shooting Sitoria Davis.

Saturday at 2:45 p.m. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office told Action News Jax of a drive-by shooting.

When they arrived on the scene, they found a 25-30-year-old man lying on the road having suffered gunshot wounds.

Saturday at 4:53 p.m. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. responded to the 700 block of Matthew Street in reference to a person shot.

According to JSO, two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and one was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sunday at 2:40 a.m. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, they responded to a call of a shooting at Park Place Beach Apartments.

The victim was found and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

As of right now, JSO has no further information.

STORY: Shooting at Jacksonville apartment complex

Sunday at 4:45 a.m. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that happened in a room at the Lexington Hotel on the Southbank.

Police said two guests were arguing during the early morning hours and it escalated to gunfire. One man shot another man multiple times in the stomach, according to police.

The man shot is in serious, but non-life-threatening condition according to JSO.

Sunday at 8:40 a.m. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a person shot on the 2100 block of West 1st Street.

When JSO arrived at the scene they found two victims, one woman in life-threatening condition and another man dead at the scene.
