"Nick is the right person for our team and our community. He's a winner, faced adversity, but led his team to a Super Bowl," Coughlin said.
Foles said he looked forward to getting to know his teammates.
"There's so much talent here but bonding in the locker room is key. I'm a new player so I have to get to know everyone. We want to complicate football with x's and o's but most important part is relationships," Foles said.
