You can tell by their trophy case, this team is no stranger to winning.

“These kids work so incredibly hard and they deserve every single trophy that’s in that case, I mean they put blood, sweat and tears in every day,” said Kristen Love, whose 18-year-old daughter is a captain on the team.

She told us at the beginning of the year cheerleaders at the high school wrote down their goals and her daughter’s top goal came true.

“The first goal that I put on our Warpath Wall was to become a state, national and world champion with my best friends, and I won this Sunday afternoon. This was my first world title,” said Haley Love.

Angela Barnes’ son Kobe is also on the team and Barnes says being a cheerleader has helped her son get his grades up.

After Sunday’s win, she couldn’t be prouder of him.

“Kobe, he acts like a strong kid, but then he was very emotional. He shed a few tears, hugged his friends. He was very excited,” said Barnes.
