No one else was involved in the crash, and investigators aren’t sure why the woman was speeding through her neighborhood.

Dennis Rynsburger lives right next to where the crash happened.

“You get up in the morning, and you don’t think that something like this is gonna ever happen,” Rynsburger said. “It’s just terrible.”

Rynsburger said the vehicle that the Ford Fiesta hit was his son-in-law’s.

“The only thing we can think of is that she had a medical problem, she passed out -- and when she passed out the throttle increased and she lost control and hit the RAV4,” Rynsburger said.

JSO said it’s unclear if the woman suffered a medical episode.

“It’s really terrible,” Rynsburger said. “It’s so sad.”
