Jacksonville, FL — Southeastern Grocers Inc. announced Thursday that it has plans to open a new Winn-Dixie in the Arlington area.
The new store will be located at 999 University Blvd, near what used to be the Town and Country Shopping Center.
In a news release, Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers, said, “We are always looking to better serve our customers, and the new College Park Winn-Dixie store presents an exciting opportunity for us to expand in our hometown. We plan to make a significant investment in the new store and provide more than 100 job opportunities to enrich the revitalization of the Arlington community and ensure our new customers receive remarkable service.”
The new store is set to open next year.
