Jacksonville, FL — Jacksonville’s Gate River Run is less than a month away.
The 5K and 15K races are scheduled for March 20. There are a limited number of entries available. The 15K is sold out, but the 5K for charity still has some spots available.
In a news release, race director Doug Alred said, “While we have been in a pandemic and Covid crisis, American elite athletes have been unable to compete to earn their livelihoods as races around the world have been canceled or postponed. With the approval of City and local health officials, we are currently moving forward with plans for the USATF 15K National Championship, however, we are implementing safety protocols to make the event as safe as possible.”
