JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The 75th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl game will be held this week in Jacksonville and there’s still time to buy tickets. Kickoff for the game is at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.
The TaxSlayer mission every year is to give the Northeast Florida community the best in college football athletics, while creating a positive impact on the area’s community pride, economy and national image.
GAME WEEK ACTIVITIES:
While the football game is Jan. 2, there is typically other activities throughout game week for all ages.
On New Year’s Eve, families can participate in the following events:
- VyStar New Year’s Eve Run at 2 p.m. in downtown Jacksonville
- Watch the fireworks display at midnight in downtown Jacksonville
- NYE at Topgolf – Glow all out for 2020
- Great Gatsby Themed New Years Party
- A Roaring New Year’s Eve at the Volstead
On New Year’s Day, there will be team pep rallies from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Jax Beach Seawalk Pavilion in the Deck the Chairs area and an AEW Dynamite concert at Daily’s Place starting at 7:30 p.m.
On Gameday, Jan. 2, fans can attend:
- TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Tailgate Party from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Daily’s Place Flex Field. It is free and open to the public.
- Game day pep rallies at Daily’s Place which are free with a game ticket.
- Yacht Rock Revue will have a pre-game concert at Daily’s Place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- A touchdown party will be held at TIAA Bank Field at the Sky Patio. Tickets are $50 and include food and four drink vouchers that can be used on beer, wine, soda or water.
PARKING INFORMATION:
If you haven’t pre-purchased parking, it is too late, as it is sold out. Parking will still be available on game day in some lots for $35. The lots will open at 2 p.m. Click here to view parking map.
STADIUM POLICIES:
Only clear bags or small clutch bags are allowed in the stadium and can’t exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size.
