The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling since Feb. 16, when the grand prize was last won in New York. At the time, the jackpot was $96 million.

Officials said one other person has won the Mega Millions jackpot so far this year. On Jan. 22, a group of players in Michigan claimed the then-$1.05 billion prize. That jackpot was the second highest in the game’s history, behind the $1.5 billion prize won in October 2018 by a player in South Carolina.
