Hawkins, 50, and the Foo Fighters were touring in South America and were scheduled to appear in Bogotá, Colombia, a spokesperson for the band told Rolling Stone.

A spokesperson for Bogota’s municipal government issued a statement late Friday confirming that the city’s emergency services received a call about a patient complaining of “chest pain,” according to The Associated Press. Ambulances were sent to the Four Seasons Casa Medina hotel, where the band was staying, and health workers “carried out resuscitation maneuvers” on the drummer.
