Priyanka and Nick both posted the same text message on their accounts, saying “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.” The post did not include any photos, and neither the name nor sex of the new baby was revealed.
The couple got married in India in 2018 in an extravagant three-day affair, CNN reported. The couple first met in 2017.
Last January, Priyanka Chopra spoke to E!, saying the couple wanted to have children in the future, adding she wanted as many children as it took “for a cricket team.”
