Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow are going to be parents.
The former NFL quarterback and his wife told People magazine that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
They also posted the news on Instagram.
She told the publication, “We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” while he said, they are “honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”
The couple met in 2018 and married in 2020. They celebrate their fifth anniversary on Jan. 20.
He was on the road covering the college football playoffs when he spoke to People, but said that the thought of being a father hasn’t fully hit him, “But when I’m with her and I see the belly growing, then it just becomes so real.”
Tim Tebow was a Heisman Trophy winner and won the College Football National Championship with the Florida Gators before being drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round in 2010, Sports Illustrated reported.
Demi-Leigh Tebow was Miss Universe in 2017.
