Neighbors are calling for peace after three West Jacksonville shootings on Saturday and Sunday.
Two of the shootings took place early Sunday afternoon within a few blocks of each other and in the span of about four hours.

“I don’t care if you’re black, white, purple, pink, all this violence needs to stop,” said a neighbor.
The scenes of Sunday's shootings were about a third of a mile apart and resulted in two separate Jacksonville Sheriff Office perimeters blocking Broadway Avenue, with one on each side of the Edgewood Avenue intersection.
The first shooting Sunday happened just before 1 p.m. on the 3500 block of Broadway Avenue.
Police tell Action News Jax a man was shot while walking down a sidewalk on Broadway Avenue.
Investigators tell us multiple suspects fled an abandoned vehicle on foot. JFRD took the man took UF Health where he later died.
Action News Jax reporter Ryan Nelson interviewed a man who tells us he knew the victim and heard seven gunshots. We agreed to conceal his identity for his protection.
“I seen a body laying down,” he said. “My homeboy, that’s his homeboy, crying and yelling and stuff. People telling us to call the police.”
About four hours later and a few blocks away in the 800 block of Dennison Street there was another shooting.
Police tell us two men were shot and a third man suffered a minor injury, possibly a twisted knee. The shooting victims on Dennison are expected to survive.
Nelson asked police if the shootings were related.
“We are looking into that right now. We don’t have anything that we can positively say,” said Lt. Paris of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, a man who police say may be in his mid-20s was shot and killed on Sophia Street after suffering several gunshot wounds.

Neighbors tell us they want the violence to end. “All this killing stuff needs to be gone, man,” he said.
Police tell us tonight the suspects in today’s incidents remain at large.
