JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new title under their belt that they might not be proud of.
According to CBS Sports, the Jags are the only NFL team in a single season since 1987, to lose five straight games by 17 points or more.
On Sunday, the Jaguars lost to the Los Angeles Chargers, by 35 points. The score was 45 to 10.
The previous week, on Dec. 1, the Jags lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by 17 points. The score was 28 to 11.
On Nov. 24, the team played the Tennessee Titans and lost by 22 points. The score was 42 to 20.
Nick Foles was named the starting quarterback for the Jags on Nov. 5 by Coach Doug Marrone.
On Nov. 17, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Jags by 20 points. The score was 33 to 13.
On Nov. 3, they lost to the Houston Texans by 23 points. The score was 26 to 3.
The Jags will play the the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
