NORTHEAST FLORIDA, SOUTHEAST GEORGIA — Another hot day in store for Sunday with temperatures in the low 90s inland and upper 80s along the coast. A cold front moves across the area today, bringing slightly drier air.
That limits our storm chance today mainly to neighborhoods south of I-10 during the mid to late afternoon. Not everyone sees rain today, but there will be widely scattered heavy downpours.
Breezy on-shore winds build in on Monday bringing an isolated shower.
Tuesday and Wednesday offer some rare dry weather – a couple of nice days!
Temperatures dip below average Monday thru Wednesday before it gets hot again.
TRACKING THE TROPICS: A disturbance east of Bermuda is fizzling away. Tropical Storm Amanda in the Eastern Pacific moves into Guatemala today and weakens.
Will carefully track the remnants of this system moving into the Gulf of Mexico in the next couple of days.
