Options if you need help paying your JEA bill

JEA is offering flexible payment options if need help paying your utility bill.

Options include:

• Payment extensions: This will give customers a new due date if you qualify for it, allowing you more time to pay for the bill.
• Payment arrangements: This will give customers the option to pay their balance over a series of monthly payments.
• Request assistance: JEA says the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), administered by North Florida Community Action Agency, helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs. The Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program and the United Way of Northeast Florida’s 2-1-1 are other helpful options.
