Jacksonville, FL. — As Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp’s salute to Black History Month, the club is hosting its second annual High School Heritage Classic.
This baseball game will feature Raines High School vs Ribault High School on Friday, Feb. 12th at 6:35p.m under the lights of 121 Financial Ballpark.
To pay tribute to the Negro League teams that used to play in Jacksonville from 1938-42, players will wear customized Jacksonville Red Caps uniforms.
The winning team will earn the A. Philip Randolph Cup, commemorating the civil rights activist who moved to Jacksonville in 1891.
There is a limited number of socially-distanced seating available for the game, ticket prices range from $5-$10 dollars depending on where you choose to sit.
