Man shot in the foot while driving in Durkeeville neighborhood, Jacksonville police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a shooter who shot a driver on Tuesday morning.

It happened in the Durkeeville neighborhood near West 19th Street and Grunthal Street.

Police say a man was driving when an unknown suspect got out of a car and started shooting, hitting man in the foot.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and he is expected to be OK, police say.
