GEORGIA: 774 more people test positive for COVID-19

As of Friday, June 5 at 4:30 p.m., there are 50,621 confirmed coronavirus cases in Georgia residents, 2,174 of which have resulted in death.

A total of 605,082 tests have been administered, according to the Georgia Department of Health.

SOUTHEAST GEORGIA CASES:

Brantley: 62 (+1 case since last update)

Camden: 69 (+1 cases since last update)

Charlton: 32 (+11 cases since last update)

Glynn: 147 (+8 cases since last update)

Pierce: 114 (+5 cases since last update)

Ware: 240 (+2 cases since last update)

The Georgia Department of Public Health will provide an update around NOON and 7 p.m. every day to ensure that the numbers being provided through the COVID-19 data tool are the most current available.

The State of Georgia has established a COVID-19 Hotline number (844) 442-2681 for the public to call for information regarding the coronavirus.

These data represent confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health. (A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.)
