Jacksonville, FL — A man in his mid-to-late 20′s was rushed to a hospital around 10 p.m. Thursday after he was shot behind a Baymeadows strip mall.
The victim was found in a wooded area behind the strip mall at 9550 Baymeadows Road, where the Walmart grocery store, Avis and Advanced Auto Parts are located.
He died at the hospital.
Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said they haven’t located a suspect yet, but they believe the gunman got away on a bicycle.
They are currently interviewing witnesses to find out who killed this man and why.
